Description
Here we have another piece I have bundled under the name of, The Cook Effect. This is because I started to experiment with the Macro photography setting on my camera and found the standard lens to be lacking somewhat. Having found this I began to experiment just to see what effects I could achieve.
This image was the first of several I took using the Macro settings on my DMC, as you can see the image is fairly dark, but holds a fair amount of detail in the foreground, however much of the background was obscured, partly due to lighting conditions but mostly due to my inability to frame a decent shot.
The idea was to give the impression of looking down the barrel of a gun, however the layout and expersion on the bear, Von Teddy, gives the overall impression of not being particularly bothered.
